Sunset Beach Cape May Delaware Riverstone necklace with 18 inch chain

A pale yellow/white riverstone set in fine silver with sterling bail and 18 inch chain.  
My Delaware River stone collection was inspired on the shores of Sunset Beach in Cape May, New Jersey.  Here, I collect the quartz and feldspar stones washed downstream, and worn smooth in the process, from the upper Delaware River. The trip takes thousands of years and more than 200 miles.. Eventually the stones come to rest on the shores of the Delaware Bay in South Jersey, where I hand select them, then tumble them for a month to achieve a high polish, resembling how they look when washed by the ocean, and set them in fine and sterling silver.  To me, they capture the memory of summer adventures along the Delaware River.
